Golden Corral in Alexandria

Staff was friendly and welcoming, food was great as usual! The pot roast is my favorite, tender and seasoning was perfect!

This place has really stepped it up from previous visits. The food was WAYYY better and the service too! Last time this one waitress seemed to be claiming all the tables but then had so many tables she couldn't keep up and our plates just stacked up!! A manager had to come remove them for us.

The food was good and the service was wonderful. There was an older server who did a better job then the younger ones.

The food was actually decent this time. The salad bar was clean and well stocked. Our waitress was very attentive with our refills and taking our plates. The dessert bar was very pathetic. It was dirty looking and not really any desserts. The staff working the dessert area, all he did was prep rolls. The rolls that were on the bar were hard and old. They are nothing like they were when they opened.

Overall this place is pretty nasty. Not just the food but the building itself. Food that was supposed to be hot was not hot. And others like the roll I had, seemed like it had been sitting there awhile as when I bit into it, it was hard.

I was actually in a hurry when I visited, but the food did not disappoint. There selection was great, and the dishes were refilled regularly. I was stunned by how good their cheeseburgers are.

Usually the Golden Corral is very good. Yesterday when my daughter and I went (around 2:00), the food was not that good. When choosing our food, many of our choices were not available. The desert was all picked over by children...it looked nasty.

Food was subpar no seasoning and bland. And still charged 17 per person.

The food didn't seem like it had a big variety, I kept going back to see if I had missed anything. My husband loved the bourbon street chicken, I only took one bite. It's probably just preference but I won't be going back.

The same food gets to be more than enough at some point. Hopefully you'll go on a day or evening when the "Grill Master" is there. (That's my nickname for him) He cooks my steak to perfection and that's saying something because I like it well done but not burnt. Every other steak house usually brings me medium well which I won't eat because it is slightly bloody or so well done it's dry and black. (Ugh)! So the saving Grace for Golden Corral is "The Grill Master"!

Where else can you get ALL YOU CAN EAT "STEAK"? They actually cook a nice natural flavored steak and you can season them at your table. I'm just assuming but I'm willing to bet if you asked them to add extra seasonings like more salt and/or pepper on your steak, they would fix you right up. Also, you can request your steak be cooked to your specific level such as rare, medium rare, medium, medium well and well. They also have steak sauces at your request. It's the perfect place for steak lovers such as myself. I mean, where else can you get all the steak the way you want it until you can't even move, for less than $20??? Not to mention the desserts. The desserts need better options such as key lime pie, pecan pie and maybe even sweet potato casserole, souffle or pie.Ok, I've made myself hungry. Time to go eat. I hope this review helps

Very attentive wait staff. Food was fresh and tasty. Had breakfast and was amazed at the variety of options.

Bathrooms are dungeons, dirty dungeons. The food was warm in most cases but the time of my visit was at a lull. It's probably better when they are busy.

Delicious Food! Wonderful Staff! Excellent Chef, cooks the Best Steaks/Ribs Tender they Melt in your mouth! Walk out full, satisfied for price you pay for amount of Wonderful Tasting Food this side of New York City's finest Restaurant's!

My god! The host, his name tag read Lance, was EXTREMELY kind and considerate. There were a group of down syndrome customers thst came to eat and his compassion and candid expression of concern was overwhelming! My husband and i watched as he took his time to go to the back and make each person feel included and tended to. Not even their waitress took the initiative to do this. Then the host,out of his own wallet PAID for TWO soldiers in their uniforms to eat dinner!!! We approached the host to give him a tip...he asked us to donate to an organization called Camp Corral! Outstanding! So we did....$100.00! We eat at this location regulary now bc of this unique person that greets everyone with a smile and a huge heart! I'm not one to write reviews but if one was ever needed it was this one!

Prime rib was fair at best. The fruit was fresh but low quality. Some vegetables were bland. The service and staff were excellent.

Great steaks and a killer pot roast.

Stopped in around 2pm and it was super super busy and packed. Place was clean,staff was really friendly, the food was good. I had a large salad with side plate of fried catfish and shrimp. Can't complain🙂

Friendly employees. Clean. Food was fresh and tasty. Waiter was always there to take the dirty dishes away and to refill our drink glasses. The food was cooked to perfection. Excellent service tonight.

Waaaaay to expensive for the quality of the food. The selection is very inconsistent.

Good selection of items on the buffet, love the prime rib they are serving on Saturdays, well seasoned...

Excellent salad bar, The vegetables and broiedl chicken was wonderful. That's all I had.

Food was okay. Beef stew was cold, meat loaf was hard, some other items could have been a lot better. Nice to spend time with family but food could have been better.🤐

The manager was really understanding about my experience and I was given a refund, but my experience here was awful! The food wasn’t too fresh (most of it wasn’t at least) and the desert itself was extremely old. I bit into a cookie and almost chipped a tooth. I didn’t enjoy it at all! Definitely not recommended.

Me and my fiance wanted to out to go eat for a late Valentine's date so we chose to go to Golden corral. We was very upset!!.. The food was horrible... Only thing worth eating was the steak... We was there minimum of 15 minutes. We asked for a refund went ate somewhere else.

Very disappointed! Family went today, spent $66 for food with absolutely no taste. The ranch salad dressing was so watered down it was ridiculous. The fruit wasn't fresh, cookies was stale and corn bread was hard. I have eaten at other Golden Coral in Texas Awesome, Georgia very good what is the problem here in Louisiana??? We tried it when it first opened wasn't great but OK but today Horrible we basically paid $66 for drinks. Our waitress was good she kept the table cleaned off and our glasses full, thanks because everything we got after tasting was left on the plates! Wouldn't recommend and probably want go back. Not my choice but our Birthday girl. Think she learned her lesson today.

Not really a place I would take anyone to don't like the food and the lines are horrible and the price is extremely high and I like cheap affordable food and I would not recommend this place to anybody but some people would like it maybe some don't and I really want and I really want to recommend

Delicious food and great service. Attendee was very nice in keeping her attention with customer's desire and cleanliness of her assigned area.

The steak chef was awesome!! All the cooks were hilarious, enjoying there job and in turn making our visit awesome. Our server was superb she never once missed anything we needed. She had it to us before we knew we needed it. Managers were on top of the crew, inventory, and kept restaurant running smoothly. The dessert ladies were exhausted but had huge smiles and a willingness to help you!!! A+

It reminds me of Ryan's that why I love it so much we need more places like this around its descent price and just about any range of food you can get and it's all you can eat so totally worth it l.

Nasty and stinks! Smells like the old Ryan’s in Alexandria. The food was nasty too. It looked old. It is too crowded and hot and when I say hot it was summer time and it felt like they had the heater on. My family and I hurried up and ate. We spent $80 and did not want to waste it. We was glad to get back in our car. It was like sitting in a car with the windows up and stinking.... Nasty Nasty Nasty....

The food was good ..it was fresh and the grilled food. Or meat was smelling so good ...yum-yum...was not overly seasoned...enjoyed it..Thanks to my server also ..He was on the money...Keep up the good work..

Different from Georgia in a good way. The flavors of this Golden place made my family satisfied and happy. Good food

I liked this place when it first,opened.then it started going down hill.have not been in about 8 months. Im gonna try one more time to see if any improvements has been made in the food.sometimes it is very cold not hot like it should be.

Really gone downhill not worth it s9nce the prices went up.

The variety of good foods and desserts

Food is good but honestly it's starting to lack some. The building is in need of some upgrades. The ladies restroom will make your food not wanna stay in the stomach.

First time at this location, all the meats are fresh and juicy. Excellent taste. Have to give 5 stars. Waiter approached as soon as we seated ourselves. So the service was excellent as well.

Breakfast buffet is awesome. So much to choose from. Clean and pleasant environment and friendly helpful staff.
